Lars is partner and a specialist in transport and insurance.

He is internationally recognised for his skills within the maritime and transport sectors, particularly when it comes to offshore wind farms, and has over 25 years of experience within his field of expertise.

What fuels Lars?

Spending time on his once abandoned Swedish farm. Cooking food by the glow of his kerosene oil lamp. Or taking a canoe trip with his dog. For Lars the most important thing is being out in the fresh air and the wildness of nature.

Into the blue

It’s no word of a lie to say that Lars has a keen interest in shipping and maritime law. In fact, he is possibly one of the lawyers to have written the most books and articles on this subject. And he is also the chairman of the foundation behind the Georg Stage training ship. Lars is incredibly enthusiastic about the training ship and it is his keen engagement and commitment that has made it into the utterly unique maritime training vessel that it is. One of Lars’ annual highlights is when he gets to form a part of life on board for one week each year.

Persistent and pragmatic

This is how Lars was described in the International Rankings, and not without good reason. Because he quite simply never tires when in court or when in negotiations. For Lars, the most important thing is solving the customer’s problem or bringing their project through to successful completion. There is therefore no option but to persevere until the path forward has been found. Lars builds his success upon his sharp commercial insights and his resolute work ethic.
