Seminar on the latest news regarding EC Regulation 261/2004
On the 22th of May 2019, IUNO invites air carriers and other companies in the aviation industry to a seminar on the latest news regarding EC Regulation 261. At the seminar we will have a look at the latest case practice and developments in the area. We will also, among other things, focus on what "reasonable measures" are.
Focus
EC regulation 261/2004 is still the cause of many disputes. The extensive amount of disputes helps define the scope of the law, but at the same time, leaves room for a considerable amount of unanswered questions.
At the seminar we will focus on the latest developments in 261-cases and will discuss how the latest tendencies might affect companies working within the scope of the regulation.
During the seminar we will incorporate case studies as well as the latest case practice, and will, amongst other things, focus on:
- Reasonable Measures: What exactly is required? And what evidence is needed?
- Reducing Legal Costs: Effective Claims Management.
- POA and PAX ID: What to do when the claims agent refuses to provide these?
- Latest EU case law: An overview of the latest leading court decisions.
Who are we?
IUNO represents air carriers and are currently involved in a considerable amount of lawsuits, where our goal is to ensure that the claim agencies are not granted unjustified claims.
Time and place
May 22 at 9.00am - 11.30am
We serve coffee, tea and a light breakfast from 8.30 am.
The event is free.
The meeting will be held at IUNO Njalsgade 19C, 3rd floor 2300 Copenhagen S
