New draft bills on the protection of whistleblowers have been proposed in Denmark and Sweden. It is expected that the new Acts will enter into force latest 17 December 2021 which is the deadline for implementation in the EU directive.

The draft bills will have huge importance for companies with more than 50 employees as the new rules will include an obligation to establish a whistleblower scheme.
